Nick is staying in India.

        The law recently caught up to Nick Twisp. He is being chased by the authorities for three separate crimes. Also, Sheeni has been informed by Trent about Nicks part in drugging her friend and also been informed by Vijay about his affair with Apurva. Bottom line, Sheeni never wants to speak to him again and the law wants him dead. It seems like everyone would be happier if he had never existed.
         In such circumstances, there aren't many options. So Nick did the only thing he could. He hitched a ride to the airport, got on a plane headed for India, only to decide to ditch in California. He sold of his plane ticket and passport to someone actually going to India, which lead everyone to believe he is actually there, while he hides out at his sister's apartment. Nick is screwed.

        What really scares me is that Nick doesn't seem to have any kind of plan. He is simply making the best of it where he is. I'm not sure for how much longer he can keep it up, and how long it will take him to return. Maybe he never will. Maybe he will go to college and get a job and lead a new life with a new identity. I'm not sure, but whatever happens, I can't wait to find out.
